Another TWU-Represented Work Group at American Airlines Secures New Contract
Flight Simulator Engineers Ratify New Agreement with Overwhelming Majority
With nearly 100% of the work group participating in the election, American Airlines’ Flight Simulator Engineers ratified a new contract yesterday. The joint contract also covers members formerly employed at US Airways, all now represented by TWU at the newly merged company.
“This contract recognizes the incredible skills, expertise and loyalty these members bring to the new American Airlines,” said TWU International Vice President Gary Shults, who helped negotiate the deal. “Our negotiations teams worked hard to bring the members a contract they could be proud of, proving that solidarity can work wonders when everyone has a common goal.”
