Hundreds of TWU members came from near and far to attend the AFL-CIO’s 2016 Martin Luther King Jr. Civil and Human Rights Conference in Washington, D.C. last week. While learning how to be effective political advocates, members also came together to serve the community by packing more than 400 meals for seniors in need. Attendees even braved the cold to march proudly in the Southeast D.C. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade.
