Today marks the 18th anniversary of one of the most tragic of days in modern history. The Transport Workers Union honors the sacrifices made by Cabin Crews, Passengers, First Responders and all the innocent victims who perished on September 11, 2001.
As we remember the tragic events that unfolded on 9/11 we ask that you take some time today to reflect on the sacrifices of all those who were lost, and those who continue to suffer and succumb to ground zero-related illnesses, as a result of their heroic efforts to help those in need that day.
The Transport Workers Union will continue to remember the tragedy of 9/11. We promise to never forget, especially our brothers and sisters who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
