TWU has just concluded an intensive six day contract negotiation and training conference in Baltimore, MD. International Staff and TWU Local Presidents representing members at American Airlines and US Airways honed their skill sets and strategized on more effective ways to approach negotiations at the new American Airlines.
Our first course of action is to establish subcommittees, to ensure all crafts and classes have representation at the bargaining table. This step will be finalized by Friday, March 20, 2015. The subcommittees will research and prepare the contract proposals the union will advance when we meet with the IAM to finalize the TWU/IAM Association contract demands.
We are committed to negotiate an agreement that recognizes the sacrifices you and your families have made and will keep you informed every step of the way.
